Our steel star & beam cutters are designed for the removal of surface materials, such as: adhesives, glues, mastics, and paint. They also work well to remove buildup of grease, dirt, and ice. They are made from high quality steel and fully hardened to provide a long life. The star design is more aggressive than the beam design and is better suited for deeper substrate removal, while the beam design is better suited for gentle removal. In general, steel cutters will not remove as fast or last as long as our carbide flail cutters.
